Does myxertones give your phone viruses??

okay.

i really want to use myxertones.. but i'm afraid its going to give me viruses.

i have verizon, and i find it ridiculous to pay 2.99 for a ringtone.

i've been sent a ringtone from a friend from the website and my phone is fine.

help?

That is ridiculous. And no it wont. I've been using it for a while now and my phone is just fine.
