Can my computer get viruses from a cd game?

if i install cd games other people have used can my computer get viruses from it?

Can my computer get viruses from a cd game?computer virus

There are only two ways this can happen:

1. The CD was infected when released from the manufacturer

2. Someone creates an illegal copy of the game on an infected machine.

And to finalize my answer: Both scenarios do happen. There have been iPods and iPhones as well as many other devices (laptops, tablet PC's, etc) which have been shipped directly from the manufacturer being infected or compromised. The same thing has happened in the software industry as well. Report It

only if its a burnt CD, If its a legitimate bought game from a store you are ok if it was bought at a market or downloaded, don't trust it.
Not likely.
Yeah, if someone remastered it and put it on another disk with a virus.

Torrent games: The cd cover is low resolution. Online multiplayer usually won't work
Most likely not, unless they've downloaded and burnt it and given it to you.
If it's not a burned game(cause theoretically someone could hide a virus on there), and you have a legit legal game there is no reason you should get a virus from it.
no i dont think so, unless the person downloaded the game from a torrent and put it on a cd to give to you, it's not likely for you to get a virus, it would help if you tell us if its a real game or a torrent. Hope this helps!
