How many times do I have to use anti-spyware before all the viruses are gone?

Two days ago i went into a website which turned out to be riddled with viruses and is affecting the performance of my computer. Among the viruses are ''trojans'' and something about privacy. I spent all day using spyware which detected over 109 infected files and my computer still has viruses! I know this because the computer is still slow and there is an annoying red warning sign is the corner of the screen. Finally do I use quarantine or delete viruses?

Make sure to turn off system restore before doing scans. Also its a good idea to restart your computer and then do the scan again to make sure everything is gone.

These are a few FREE programs (which I personally use), which work great together to check whether your computer is infected, if anything is found they will remove the problem files. Make sure to disable your own Anti-virus before installing a new one because it may cause a conflict.
