Is vista immune from viruses?

i read a report that said that so far, no viruses have been able to penetrate the inbuilt security of vista. is this correct?

Is vista immune from viruses?norton

With users that don't practice safe computing: No

Is vista immune from viruses?spyware remover

NO
nothing is immune to viruses
Simple answer is no
no
There's no such thing as immunity from viruses as new viruses are written every day by hackers. Microsoft has to constantly release update patches to protect Vista from the new threats, but even then they are only reacting after some new virus has appeared.
No it is not nor is any Computer operating system.
NO !! I heard that windows XP was safe when it first came on the scene. If you download or visit a site that leaves a virus on you pc, then what ever windows you have is not going to stop it.
No
no computer is immune from viruses with the correct security installed you are more protected from online viruses.
An operating system is only as secure as the programs running on it.

Even if there are no known vulnerabilities with the operating system if you have a vulnerable program running or a mis configured program then the operating system is vulnerable.

Even operating systems such as Linux are vulnerable to worms and virii. No matter what some Linux users profess.
