Isn't the imac suppose to be safe and there's no viruses and stuff for it. Then how come there's Apple Care? Thanks.

Apple Care is is an insurance and service plan for your Mac. It is not virus care.

AppleCare is not for spyware and virus protection and getting rid of those, because you can't get viruses and spyware. AppleCare, if you actually did a small bit of research, is for hardware, operating systems, and application problems. You can mess up these by messing with settings and such, and it will help fix those problems. However, sooner or later, someone will find out a way to break the Macs protection system, and AppleCare will probably help repair a computer from these when it happens.
Because sometimes things break - even Macs!
