just scaned my comp and so far i got over 14000 viruses and most of them r in windows font.what do i do to get rid of them?

First, lets ensure that you are getting all the viruses off your computer. Perhaps they are replicating after you run scans? Maybe try another antivirus/spyware/malware program(s).

Failing this, might even want to consider wiping your hard drive clean and reinstalling OS and putting your docs back on.

Save what you can. Making sure that you dont reinfect your newly cleaned machine.

1. Download and run firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through firefox

Browser attacks aren't easy to spot because they piggyback on legitimate traffic that doesn't exhibit many obvious warning signs
