Ive heard recently that linux cannot get viruses or it cant crash or nothing is that true

If you're using the latest unstable software for linux it could crash but it doesn'trequire to restart the pc to fix the error. Unlike other operating systems it will tell you exactly where the problem appeared.

You can get viruses in Linux, but there aren't so many available, because it's harder to create one and not many people are using Linux.

I'd add that virus on Linux are pretty much worthless, if set up right the sandbox security model of Linux makes it difficult for virus' to do anything.
Any operating system can get viruses of all kinds.
Yeah but very rarely will you ever run upon one as no one ever uses Linux. The chance of getting a virus on Linux is pretty much 0. However they do get hacked a lot if your running a web server but thats another thing.
Linux is very stable due to the way it;s made but, yes it can get a virus and will crash.....hard to get it to crash but it will..
